This section of the website will contain photos of secondary modern schools and other schools in the tripartite system. There are photos of all the schools in Burnley, Lancashire, that were built after 1945. These schools will be demolished by 2010. How school space was planned to embody some of the ideas of educational theory and policy plays an important part in my thesis.
